Rho Sigma Zeta Updates
As of right now we have 2 more girls interested in joining us!! We need 3 to be recognized by the school and we only have the 2 founders so we decided that we will be the founding mothers and they will be the founding daughters :D
we are working on our philanthropy at the moment and have got in contact with the make-a-wish foundation! i'm getting so psyched about it! hmm what else i think that's about it! i'll keep this as my thread that i update every once in awhile! Thanks everyone for supporting us, you don't even know what it means to me!!! Lauren |

Just to let you know, I know that Chi Omega has recently adopted the Make A Wish Foundation as their philanthropy so you might want to look into something else. Good luck!

our philanthropy as a whole is child welfare...we are starting a program called kare 4 kids and we will be working with many organizations not just make-a-wish.

this has been a good week! we got a new pnm and with the help of Eirene_DGP we got in touch with another sorority on campus...so hopefully we can get something planned :D hmmm what else i have a meeting with our advisor on 8/19 so i'm excited to tell her all of whats been going on :) i was thinking about starting a greek council of some sort at our school b/c a) we don't have one and b) it's really hard to find info on the other glo's on campus and this way we can all be involved together I dunno though so we'll see whats going on...

Well I'm glad things are going well :). There's probably little I can add on the website front, I'm having a quick look now before I go out to see Legally Blonde II. So let's see...
1) Like the new front page. 2) In the bottom left hand corner, you see a yellow exclamation mark and it reports you have errors on your page. Your code is all **fine**, but the advert code Yahoo geocities inserts is buggy. You might like to paste the following line in the <head> section of your html code to supress the reporting of the errors: <script language="JavaScript"> function blockError(){return true;} window.onerror = blockError; </script> Yahoo re-inserts code for their ads every now and then, sometimes above the <head> section so you might need to delete the ad code every now and then (it'll be obvious to see, it has <-- text above/below generated by server. PLEASE REMOVE --> on it). 3) Tiny typo on the Commonly Asked Questions page. In the first paragraph, 'developing' is spelt 'devoloping'. Likewise on the Philanthropy page where the spelling 'devoloped' is used. Also, on the Philanthropy page, 'benefit' has been spelt 'benifit'. 4) When I select 'About Us' on the right and then 'Legacy', there isn't any text on the left hand side yet? I'm guessing it's a work in progress though. 5) It (the site generally) does look nice, but you may want to re-look at the use of italics which sometimes doesn't look clear and crisp on computer monitors? 6) The purpose statement is nice, The purpose of Rho Sigma Zeta is to provide women of all cultures unity, sisterhood and support as well as life experiences. This orginization is devoted to friendship, motivation, opportunity, leadership and well-being. There's a slight typo where 'organization' is mis-spelled. Also, the sentence might flow even better if you put the word 'to' after provide or the word 'with' after cultures, instead. A nice word to add might be 'enriching' before life experiences. 8) Calendar v. nice. I'll have to get me one of those :) ! Overall it's v. nice, I hope not all my points were silly or annoying. I have a philanthropy idea! I am a little one-sided because I am going into family law to protect these people. OK here's the idea: Child and Spousal Abuse Awareness and Eradication! You could raise money for this to get children and spouses out of such situations and get an education so they can get a decent job to support themselves once out of the situation! You can print brochures to hand out to the public. You can do all kinds of things with it!

GRRRRRR!! :END RANT: Sorry about that I had to get some things off my chest and it's nice to have people here that know what we have gone through...it's like my other home lol :D yes i'm being cheesy... We have so many meeting coming up meeting with the girls, then with the advisor, and then with Delta Gamma Pi....School Starts soon...I'm gonna start stressin real soon here... Last but not least... We got some BIG news I guess you can say...we got contacted by MTV...I'm psyched but a little worried at the same time...
