Outside activities
 

I know my chapter requires active members and new members to be involved in activities outside of the chapter. I was curious if this was true in other chapters and if so what you guys are involved in?

As for me I will post my list...to say the least I am beginning to believe I should also be a member of over achievers annonymous.

-Society of Physics Students
-Northern Arizona Astronomy Association
-Mars Society
-inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society (nothing else other then inductions really to it)

I think that is everything, but I would also like to reopen a chapter of sigma pi sigma...it is the honor society for physics majors...but since this is my last semester i dont think it will happen sadly to say...

When I was in school, we were required to be in 2 outside activities minimum; as a result ADPi consistenly had greater participation and visibility on campus than any other sorority! :)

We had a one outside activity requirement if you worked; two if you didn't. Quite a few sisters in my chapter were members of Quo Vadis, who gave tours of the Nationality Rooms (for the newer Alpha Iotas, this was when you had to memorize the information, not just play a tape!).

I was also editor of the Greek Newspaper, on the Panhel Council, and secretary for Rho Lambda. Seems like there was more, but USAirways just lost my reservations for tomorrow and my mind is busy panicking!!

In addition to ADPi I was an RA in the residence halls, and I worked too. I was involved alot in my res hall (it came with the job) and that took a lot of my time, alot of ADPi time too.
