Wth?!

I don't know what made me think of this incident, but... when I was about 12 years old, the day before Thanksgiving, my neighbor who had just moved in (who we didn't know), came over to our house and said that her stove had broken, and could she use our oven to bake her pies. My mom, was like WTH?

So, I was just wondering what is the most outlandish favor someone has asked of you, whether it was a famiy member, friend, or a stranger.

I also have another one, my freshman year in college, a girl didn't have money to do her laundry, so she was going around asking people if they wore the same size bra as she did, and if she could borrow one from someone. We were all looking at her in disbelief like, heifer you better take one of your own dirty bras, and get ta scrubbin'.

I'm trying to think of something. Your second scenario is too  for me. :o Oh my!

Lmao

I'm sorry, but for some reason this reminds me of the scene in the movie Friday when the crackhead asks Craig to borrow his VCR to tape The Mack

I'm gonna try and think of some.........

You Know What!!!!

I have a lady in my building who knocked on my door and asked if she could borrow some pads. It seem her and her daughters friend come to town on the same day.

Well, since i had some pads that I brought from the dollar store and swore to never purchase again (I will only buy name brand).

The next day she came by and knocked on the door, but guess who was to tired to answer;) .

Then she came by this past Friday and asked again.

I'm not saying this is the most outlandish favor, but I'm not your supplier!!!

 What has the world come tooo??!!

Well I have had quite a few "outlandish" incidents. I seem to attract people like that ( DON'T ASK ME WHY!) :p The most out of line and just pure nasty one I can think of is, one morning I was washing my face and brushing my teeth, you know the regular routine you perform every morning to get ready for the day. This girl who I had never seen in my life asked me could she use my toothbrush when I was done because she couldn't find hers....... Now, I don't know if my mind was playing tricks on me(which I know it wasn't) or if she wasn't aware of what she was saying, but I couldn't respond to her. I was like OMG! and I stared at her in amazement, then I QUIETLY AND PLESANTLY walked away...LOL. My intentions were not to make her feel bad, but I mean damn... Girl, what is YOUR PROBLEM? Can someone please tell me what happen? As long as we paused and just stared you would have thought we were in the TWILIGHT ZONE! I never thought in a million years, someone who doesn't know me (not that it would be any better if I knew her) would ask me to USE MY TOOTH BRUSH!

Mine came from a coworker who had recently given birth. She wanted to know if would give up my office for half an hour every day so she could use her breast pump (she has only a cubicle).

I don't find this request offensive. I was asked the same thing at a former job, and I was let the coworker use my office.

A male neighbor of mine came to my door at about 7am to ask if I could take him to work because his car was not working. I told him that I had to get ready for work myself and that would put me behind because I haven't gotten dressed yet. He said 'well, you can just run me up there in your pj's. No big deal"..wth?!?!?

I am a married woman. What do I look like driving you around with my goodies showing?

I wouldn't call that a bad request. She probably felt more comfortable pumping her milk inside of someone's office than elsewhere, like the restroom (yikes!!! ).

 WOW! He has alot of nerve! Telling you what you could do for him, when he's the one who needs something. Boy, you would think you owe something to everyone, the way that people demand things.

Just curious. Sometimes even when I know things are a little much I still do them. Oh Well:o

Conskeeted7 07-29-2003 04:33 PM

No, I didn't take him to work. I wasn't even close to being dressed and I wasn't about to rush on his behalf.
