Bob Hope dead at 100
 

Did anyone else notice that when George Burns hit 100, it was a big ass deal. With Bob Hope, nothing....That's a shame...

Leslie Townes "Bob" Hope - 1903-2003

There was a lot of coverage on tv. So much that at first I thought he had died then, until I sat down and paid attention to the shows.

NBC has just broke away from the TODAY show for the special report. I'm sure we'll be hearing more...he JUST died last night afterall.

So sad but at the same time he lived such a WONDERFUL life full of service to others. People can't live forever, but he sure lived a long time :)

At least we have the memories and smiles to remember him by!

So sad. :( He was a wonderful, talented man. Rest in peace, Bob.

He had a great life and He'll be remebered for the many great things he did. He'll always be one of my all time favorite comedians. R.I.P. Bob.

I'm sad that he passed away, but I'm bothered that it is the only thing on CNN. Sometimes I think that TV news is too infatuated with Entertainment television.

He did so much for the USO and entertainment, he shall be missed.

this traumatizes my life and completely ruins my day......i love bob hope......loved him since i was little. the man was hilarious and he will most definitely be missed.

Bob Hope certainly leaves a great legacy of classic comedy moments that will never be duplicated. A true American treasure.

I can't think of a single person that has done more for the war-fighting capability of this country.

Leslie Towne Hope, you were a great man. You did more in 100 years then most of us could do in a 1,000.

My Jr. year of high school I did a 7 page term paper on Bob Hope, in which I learned all about his wonderful life and all he did.
