a lil update...
 

It feels like I haven't been on the board in forever!!!

but...Im still alive, returned from my amazing Hawaii vacation with my boyfriend, and went to Vegas for a couple of days!!! So summer has been very exciting!!!

Anyway, Rush preparations are at its peak and i think everything is going well!! Im so excited cuz im a Dayhead and I get to plan the perfect outfits etc!!!!

How are your guys' outfits goin?? Is it a big deal at your chapter? What about themes??? Songs???

Id share our outfits on GC...but i dont want to get JACKED!!! in case other sororities from my school are on the same board!! HAHHAHA how paranoid??!!! HAHHAHAHAHA (PM me if ure interested)

At our school, outfit selection is very important just as room decoration. Having cute/ trendy outfits and nice decorations is crucial...kinda superficial...! So basically, everything has to be perfect up to conversation!!! ahhh!!! Kinda scary. This is my 3rd year into Rush and im totally excited!!!! GOOO DELTA GAMMA!!!!!

We're gonna have a Mock Rush with USC in Aug..!!! :D Im soo excited for that since we get to meet other DGs in Socal!!!

I'm from University of Akron, we have no-frills recruitment. We aren't allowed to have matching outfits, and what we're allowed to wear is written out specificlly. 1st day and All Greek Unity shirt, 2nd and 3rd are letter shirts, and 4th day is pin attire depending on chapter. Since I have no idea how'd you'd even plan for that. Just in general, what do you have to do? I'm really curious.

We;re not allowed to do any skits or rehearsed type play or whatever. As for themes we cant really do themes but theres a big loophole and the rooms have some sort of themes.

At our school we wear Greek unity shirts (the shirts that panhellanic made) for info nite - where the girls get to meet all of us at once for a few mins. Its the kick-off of the 3 days of rush

Day 1 - business attire (usually all the sororities wear pants or skirts with a cute top)
Day 2 - philantropy...casual
Pref Nite - pin attire
