Starting APO at UMass
My friend is looking start an organization devoted to community service. I suggested that she research alpha phi omega because they are a coed service fraternity. I was looking at the website apo.org and I didnt see any info about starting a chapter. Do any of you know where I can go to get info about starting a chapter?

Your friend should email Ed Richter, the National Director of Membership and Extension at membership.director@apo.org.
Or write to: Alpha Phi Omega 14901 East 42nd Street Independence MO 64055-7347 Or call: 816 373 8667 (main, from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM central time Monday through Friday) |
Re: APO @ UMass
Go to the website, www.apo.org. Click on the "about" tab @ the top of the page; for general information, you can then select from the following options you will see on the left hand side: APO 101, hisotry, vision, mission, goals, and tradtitions. If you want to contact someone about starting a chapter, when you click on the about tab, then click on national office on the left. Then click on national office staff. There is contact info including email addresses.

Well she may also be interested in starting a National Service Sorority. Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority is always looking for new membership in different areas.

It's our boy Randy! :D
Thanks for the clarification! I was kind of asking myself that after the fact. |
No problem. Undergrad enrollment at MassD is about 7000. Large enough for both. :)
