So I was at the bar tuesday night waiting for some friends to come up when I met this one girl. I was talking to her for a while just to pass the time( hoping my friends would come soon) She was a cool girl, she goes to the same school as me and shes lives in the same area. She ended up giving me her number that night ( I never asked for it she just gave it to me) and told me to give her a call sometime so we could "party". I told her that I would give her a call on a monday or tues because I have to work weekends. She told me she has no weekends off cuz she works as a CallGirl downtown. I'm not sure what a callgirl is but I think it might be a cocktail waitress or a shotgirl or something, which is cool because i'm a bartender. I'm kind of wary about girls that seem really interested in me, so I think I may just "lose" her phone number.

I've herd the term call-girl for prostitute or an escort.

She's networking dude. Looking for clients.

I'm pretty sure that a call girl is just a nice name for a prostitute, though maybe it's different in some places. That's really weird that she said that though, I can't imagine anyone just busting out with "Oh I've got weekends off b/c I'm a prostitute and weekends get pretty slow around here" or something. Who knows! I think I might lose her number just to be safe.... :)

:eek: thats pretty sketchy if she's an escort. Over here I have heard people like that called prostitute or whore, but never call girl. lol, it's kind of funny because this girl wasnt slutty looking or anything but really wholesome girl next door type.

I agree that 'call girl' is a nice way to say hooker, escort, prostitute, etc. Are you sure she said call girl? Maybe she said something else and you misunderstood.

A call girl is essentially a prostitute, i.e. a woman who gets paid to perform sexual acts, although my understanding is a call girl is a "high class" one. (i.e. there's slight differences along the prostitution spectrum)

To me, "hookers" stand on the street corner and could feasibly go with ANYONE [which is extremely dangerous], whereas call girls will service business men in their hotel rooms, the business man's homes, etc. (i.e. Out Call Service) Essentially, call girls are much more discriminating about who their customers are and they can afford to be, as they are a bit nicer groomed, well spoken, etc

If she wants to "party" with you, that's a euphemism that she wants to do sexual things for you and have you pay her money for her to do so.

You'd be surprised.....Call Girls usually do look "wholesome" and not slutty. This is intentional because "customers" do not want to bring attention to themselves by a woman where it looks OBVIOUS about the reason why she's there.

Escorts/call girls are the highest class of sex worker...many are college-educated and come from middle-class families. Sometimes all they do is go on a date, sometimes it's more. These women tend to have loyal clients--possibly being able to live comfortably just having one well-heeled client. If the woman is employed by a madam, the madam will often pay for etiquette lessons (or give them herself) as well as for STD testing. There is a screening process for most high-end escort services, so you don't have major problems with drug addiction.

Then there are the women in brothels, followed by the streetwalkers. Did you all know that fights often break out between call girls and street walkers? Class warfare.

Okay. It really freaks me out how much I know about sex workers...

They're all whores. Does it really matter what you call them?
