Do you use Netflix?
 

I am considering trying out Netflix and I just wondered if anyone had tried it and liked it.

If you don't know, Netflix is a service where you can order as many DVDs as you want per month for $20. You get three at a time and as soon as you send one back, they send you another. Totally free shipping, including the postage to send the movie back to them. No late fees. They send them straight to your house.

If you watch a lot of movies, it's worth it. I have several friends that are very happy with it.

We use Netflix. I'm not very involved in the movie selection - I leave that to my resident movie buff... but it's worked out quite well for us so far. We have the second tier plan... something like 5 movies at a time for $30/month. We always have new movies to watch, and with the frequency we get them, we more than make up for the money. Plus it's so nice not having to get them back to a store by 12pm Sunday or something like that.

It is a good service. The only problem is if you live far away from where they delever the dvd's from it may take awhile to get there and u can rent less movies than a person closer.

I've used it since Sept and loved it. I am a movie addict, and this has helped me to see all the movies that are hard to find. Since I'm not working and have tons of free time, I bumped up to the 5 movies at a time, and that is great because I always have a lot of variety.

One thing you should know: The more movies you take out, the more likely that some of the movies you want will be on a short wait, or long wait. I return my movies quickly, so I had a super long wait for the second season of the Sopranos. It took literally 6 months to get it! Someone did a study of netflix and found this to be true. Unfortunately I don't have the link anymore.

We have netflix and really like it. They make it really easy. And I usually get the movies really quickly. And since you can have three at a time I am rarely without a movie.
(I live really close to the distribution, so I get movies really quickly):p

Greeklawboy and I love Netflix! Its always fun to see the bright red and white wrapper in the mailbox and wonder, "what movie are we watching tonight?" :)

My father gets Netflix. While his choice of movies are not really my taste, the service is great!

Agree. The service is great -- and, at least here, very fast. You have to watch the movies fairly quickly after you get them to make it worthwhile, but if you watch at least three a month, you come out ahead of renting.

Looks like Mr. dzsaigirl and I are going to go ahead and sign up. A girl who he goes to grad school with and her husband also use it and they have enjoyed it.:D
