Does anyone use Thetas.us as their internet provider??
 

I've seen a bit about the Theta internet provider on the HQ site and in the magazine. Just wondering if anyone has signed up with it and if so, how you like it. Thanks!!

I've seen that and have often wondered about that myself. It is the same price as my current ISP, and if i find out that the theta.us provider is just as good, then i'd like to switch to it because it benefits Kappa Alpha Theta. So if anyone uses it or knows of someone who does, i'd like to know about it as well!

I thought I would bump this thread too. I'm still quite curious if anyone has or is currently using thetas.us. My main area of curiosity is reliability of service.

I actually decided to give this a try. It took several tries before I actually got through to the set-up, it kept telling me there was a problem with the server or something. Then, for whatever reason, the program wouldn't automatically download as it said it would, or even give me the option to click a link to download it. I sent several emails to the helpdesk with no response whatsoever. I got two invoices in my email, continued to try to contact them, and never got ahold of anyone or a response to my messages. I finally stopped getting invoices and haven't heard anything since. My advice is to stay away from thetas.us!!!

If you have the time, it might be worth shooting a brief email to info@kappaalphatheta.org to let HQ know you've had a lot of problems. I'm sure the person there in charge of third-party programs will want to know if thetas.us is not working out.
