DNC Commercial
has anyone seen the new commmercial that the DNC put out? I havent seen it, but they were talking about it on cspan this morning. Do you think its a cheap shot to President Bush, or do you think its pretty fair?
|
I had yet to see it but I went to http://www.democrats.org/ and looked at it. Well it is just another way to get the point across that Bush used flawed intelligence to further the Iraqi war. Its sortof a cheap shot but all ads from political parties or politicians are cheap shots. Its like when Clinton had his leagal issues the Republicans wanted everyone to know about it even if they went about it the wrong way, which they did as are the Democrats here. I am not swayed by this to join the Democratic party and nothing will ever make me change from my independent but slightly right political veiws. Political parties suck. They are just a way to get people to divide into opposing camps. I have more I could say on this issue but I don't like talking about controversial topics on an empty stomache, I need some breakfast.

I'm a Political Science major, so I took a look at the ad a little differently. I felt that the ad was just propoganda for the DNC to use to prove their point that going into the war with Iraq was pointless (Note to DNC: I think that we get the point!) Now, we are going to start mudslinging to prove which party was right or not.

I still want GWB be in the Prime Minister Question hour. It's only the polite thing to do since Blair have spoken before the joint sitting of the Congress. Imagine GWB going against Ian Duncan.

I love the democrats - they claim the Republicans use all this false intellegence to lie about the WMD they claim were never there, though almost all high ranking democrats made statements saying Iraq must be stopped and their WMD programs must be stopped (that they now claim never existed...)

I totally think it's fair game
The Republicans would take the opportunity to do the same thing if they were in our position. I'm tired of the Democrats trying to be nice about things, and getting pushed around by the Republican Party.
Anyone remember Saxby Chambliss (who deferred four times from the Vietnam War and never served) calling Max Cleland (a triple amputee veteran of the Vietnam War) unpatriotic!?! |
