I was just on the Alpha Gam website and I noticed that the member side is under development. Does anyone know what they are doing to it?

My guess is that IHQ is uploading the reporting forms so chapters can submit everything via email. They may also be updating the directory...who knows?

They have pretty ambitious plans for the private side, so I imagine that it will be under development frequently as they keep adding more features. But never fear--the "under development" sign is a good thing! :)

Ooo, I hope they're putting the "Tips and Techniques" resources on the site...I think I remember hearing at TLC that they would be doing that. I love those little workshops!

Would it be too much to hope that they're putting up Convention info? :)

When I was in meeting and event planning I knew of several good options for on-line meeting registration. That would be great!!

It'd be really cool if they were updating the member site with Convention info. Online registration would be so much easier than printing out the .pdf file (like the last time) and sending everything in.

I'm crossing my fingers and toes for this one!

Hope the Chat has improved;) :D And/or discussion boards similar to GC's.

And I'd definitely like to see chapters be able to submit reports online!

Unfortunately, one of the downsides of "under development" is that some sisters' can't get to the recommendation forms.

Oh well, I know the site will be terrific!

On a somewhat related note, it sometimes surprises me when some of the larger chapters' websites are 2-3 years old.

I have a copy of recruitment recommendations forms if anyone wants them. Just PM me with your email.

OK, so I've been gone a few days and I went to the website and here's what it said:

A new website is under construction: We are working on a new Alpha Gamma Delta website, and for now, the member services side of this website is not available. If you need assistance locating a sister or collegiate chapter or if you need a recommendation form or question answered, e-mail us at info@alphagammadelta.org.

I'm a little bit confused, because I thought that the website we have now *was* the new website. Does anyone know if its just the private side that's being overhauled, or is the whole website being replaced? :confused:

Nicole, I haven't heard anything about the members only side yet, but I assume it will be soon. You could always email Jeanne Henning, our Director of Communications, or LiaAnn Vang, our Web Coordinator. Of course, you could always do "Ask the President" too!

One thing that I am really loving about the new website is how frequently its being updated. It seems like I see something new added at least once a week. Keep up the good work, IHQ! :)

i was cruising the web and i saw your new website. i think it looks great. it is packed with lots of info in a great new format! congrats ladies!
