Is anyone watching the premiere of this show tonight?

I might catch it.

I don't think I'll be too amused by this show, but i'll give it a chance.

I will be watching. I hope to someday own a restaurant, so although I'm not going to count on television to teach me anything, it'll be interesting to get the inside scoop on a new restaurant.

I will watch it but I don't understand something. Is this supposed to be an upscale place? Because wouldn't people mind if there were cameras everywhere watching them eat?

OK I thought the show was cool kinda but weird. Why would you trash talk your coworkers if you know they'll see it on tv a couple weeks later. Also maybe if the retards would put down the alcohol for 5 minutes they could have worked faster.

I think I want the job of the financier. That sounds fun. I get to ride around in a limo and tell people to work faster.

i watched it. can we have reality television without alcohol??? the waiters were just obnoxious
but overall the show did have an unexpected appeal

I only caught the last half hour of it-- from what I saw it looked pretty good. I was laughing at the last shot of him looking in the mirror while a guy's yelling to him that his first customers are there.

Yep. That's one of the things that's going to make this show interesting, a bunch of toolish waiters messing up everything.

I liked it, quite original.

My dad is an executive chef and I grew up in restaurants so this show is interesting and quite real, except for the retarded servers. I like this show a lot.

I have worked in a couple of restaurants so I know what it feels like. I saw the show and I like it very much. this may be a very interesting one to watch.:)

Ha ha...well, you know, I've had that phrase for beginning threads with trademarked and copyrighted, ;) so I think Dionysus was just being cautious as she doesn't want to get into legal troubles....

FWIW: I did not see the Restaurant. I totally forgot about it.

No I wasn't thinking that at all, lol. Someone was rushing me off the computer and I forgot to type "the".

yes, it is more of an upscale restaurant.. i would imagine that would be part of the appeal of eating there though - the potential of getting to see yourself on tv..personally, i wouldn't want people filming me while i ate...but if you didn't want to be filmed while you were eating, you just wouldn't go there during the months that they were taping..

my friend's parents went there a few weeks ago and said it was really good.

i love this show!! i am a server and comletely understand everything that is going on...

as for them being drunk all the time...try working at a country club. that was my first job and we were always having something to drink. we had 12 oz styrofoam cups with lids. you could never know what was in there. so i understand that part too!! haha...

oh well..i love it..
but unless you have ever served or worked in a restuarant before, it's hard to grasp the whole concept i think...

but that is just my lovely 2 cents!
