What specifically have YOU done today to help the Black community?

Good guestion! I helped a family member with admittance to college.

I've talked to a frat brother that I did not know about colleges in my area and offered to assit his nephew in helping with his admission.

I became president of my county's branch of the NAACP and planned a retreat for board members.

I reviewed the vacancy listing in my department in hopes of advising someone I know to apply as I may be able to help with the hiring phase

I attended revival last night and will go again tonight in hopes that I can be a better witness to God's love

I helped a friend find a job.

I helped a young lady understand the 10 steps to buying a home through NACA

Exposing our Youth
 

Earlier today, I assisted with our AKA Scholars (mentoring program of 3 high school students). It was their "Spa Day". They were enlightened ;) on all aspects of health and wellness (yoga, healthy eating, pedicures, manicures, aeromatherapy (sp?)etc).
