what songs do you guys use at a candle pass????? just wondering, i'm trying to think of the name of this one song we use, and i can't remember it!!! can someone help????

the one that i'm thinking of has the words that go "...a candle shines brightly for one adpi..." i can't think of the rest for the life of me!!! anyone know this??? i love this song!

I've only ever sang Pass it On for candle passing. My last Candle passing was at founders day a couple of years ago, so there were roughly 150 people present. It was an engagement ring, so it took forever to get around three times. If the any didn't know the song when we started they definately knew it by the time we ended. It was a sweet moment, the only thing was we all knew who was engaged so everyone was waiting with their cameras ready to flash the moment she blew out the candle. I've done one where it was a suprise, I kind of liked not knowing who the candle passing was for. I kind of think it made it more personal.

okay everyone, i know this was posted FOREVER long ago...but I am way excited because I know what song she is talking about! It kinda helps that we're from the same chapter ;) It seems like she doesn't post on here anymore...but, for everyone else, here's the song we do at candle passings in our chapter:

oh, sorry! didn't know someone had already posted this song...I was just a little excited that I knew which one she was talking about (blame it on the fact that I'm a new Delta...I get excited about anything that has to do with ADPi...haha) sorry again!

I've never heard that song before.... I really like it!

Once last semester we had FOUR at one chapter meeting. We knew the first two, were pretty sure of the third, and the last one was a complete surprise. It was so exciting and nervewracking at the same time. It endedup being one of our advisors and then hearing the story and how he proposed, just soooo sweet!:)
