Campus based vs. Citywide chapters...

There is a city wide chapter of AKA where I attend school...there is also a chapter on campus ( I attend a small school). I am fairly new at the school and was surprised (pleasantly) to hear about the campus based chapter. My question is: If one were chosen...accepted...invited to participate in the membership intake process...(I tried my best to word it properly)...would it have to be through the campus based chapter or either or? I hope this isn't one of those questions that are considered stupid. Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

Before asking your question, did you do a search with the words "city wide" or "citywide"? If not, you might want to do that because the answer is there. I am by no means trying to be ugly, but I think everyone should get in the habit of doing that more often. Most of the time the topic has been covered at least once.

At the risk of sounding ignorant once more, do you mean do a search in one of the search engines (yahoo, aol, etc.)? I did search many of the old topics in this forum and have yet to see anything pertaining to my specific question. I will definitely do a search right now, but I did go into various chapter websites and again it was to no avail. Maybe, this is one of those things that I don't need to know at this point.

On November 23, 1999 the other moderator, Bellsouth7, responded to a topic "What should I do". Look in the upper right corner of the screen and click on "search". Type in "city wide" and submit. Several old threads will appear.

Everyone says they don't want to be "spoon fed" information, so I'm just telling you where to do the research.

AKAtude, I did the search and true enough, there in black and white, was the detailed answer to the question that I posted in this forum. Had I did the research from the start, I would not have wasted your time...and to think I had the nerve to submit two posts about the same topic. Let me testify to the fact that doing the research before asking questions can save an interest a whole lot of embarassment! Thanks for the enlightenment!

Good job! I knew you could do it!
