Please DO NOT respond to the "AKA and Mirrors" thread in the Greek Life forum. I don't think even an intelligent, informed response would change the mind of the original poster, who seems to be interested in baiting people to get all riled up. From his messages, it seems as if his mind is made up, and just wants to start trouble.

I'm leaning on the shield here, sorors, in asking that we not respond to such silliness. Thank you.

Ladies of AKA,

I came into this room to commend you on your restraint. (As most of you probably know) Most Deltas would never disrespect you in that manner, and I appologize for the person who did so in the name of Delta. (I even hesitate to agree that she is my soror)

God Bless you all, and the fact that you haven't gone plum offfff, is is proof that you have beauty of spirit.

I also applaud you on your restraint. I simply told the original author of the post that if he had a question, that there was a discreet way in asking it and (he) basically ignored that and bashed me. I do think that it is interesting that people who do not register have the most negative things to say. I think that ALL of the members of your great organization did the right thing by ignoring this simple minded individual.

I read the same post and did not bother to respond either because it wasn't worth my time. When we ignore the silliness then the thread dies on its own along with the original poster.

Even though I did not see the post everyone is talking about I do remembering seeing it in another forum and starting a discussion on the topic in this forum. If this person was so interested in it, he should have came to the source, just like I did.
