Bid Day Ideas
 

Hey all!! I was just wanting to know some good Bid Day Ideas!! I am from University of North Alabama,Theta Alpha Chapter. Our Bid Day is August 18th. Just let me know if you have ANY ideas!! :) Thanks,Kyla :)

one year, we bought binders for all of the phis to keep their phi mu related stuff in...on bid day, we had a ton of magazines for them to go through and cut out pics to decorate their binders. this was a great activity to keep the phis occupied while the sisters ran around campus and posted decorations on their doors!!!

we do a phi-etesa at a local mexican restaurant and we all eat chips and salsa and get to know the girls and meanwhile we have people decorating the doors!

@ Purdue we arent allowed to decorate the doors of the dorms, so we take the girls big lion cut outs that say " Welcome to PHi Mu" and then the girls end up putting them on their door. Our house mom makes a cake with all of the new girls names on it, we take our phi class pictures, give them their phi pack, play some sort of ice breaker. Recently the ice breaker has been throw the ball of yarn around the the room and introduce yourself. With 112 girls that takes up most of the night... The we let all the new girls stay in their phi friends bed and they stay up all night getting to know one other. Then in the morning (6:30-7:00) the phi friends walk into cold air singing linger softly to wake them up and then we take them out to breakfast if they want to go...It was one of the most memorable nights!!!!

Rose&WhiteGirl, what a bunch of wonderful ideas y'all have! I especially like the idea of singing "Linger" to wake them up, it's such a beautiful song! And I also like having Bid Day last more than a day. :)
