Sigma Nu Colony

Sorry to crash, but I figured there might be a little space since I'm an Alpha Xi Delta ;)

I attend the University of Toledo, sorry but we don't have a Sigma Nu chapter, but we have the next closest thing. Bowling Green is recolonizing (I looked on your web site and the orginally chapter was founded in 1946).

Some of our girls would like do something for the guys (even though they go to BGSU, anyone from the area knows they are our biggest rival and only twenty minuetes away) we can't really help with rush since we don't attend the same school. And sorry to say I'm not willing to be envolved with snakes of any sort.

So I guess we're looking for a unique idea!

They do have an Alpha Xi Delta chapter there (it's the best chapter on campus, please do not make comments on this b/c of course I think my sorority's the best as I'm sure you do as well) but we're not very close to them.

I don't really have anything in mind.. just something extra creative, without snakes and as always on a college budget.

I would suggest buying prints of our paintings serpent rose and star, the founding and the quest along with a copy of our coat of arms and The Creed, get them matted and framed.
You can buy them all or just some of them. They're not expensive at all and you can get them at sigmanu.com. It's something that generations of bowling green Sigma Nu's will be able to have.

The fellas at BGSU are great. Talked to their treasurer once for awhile (well that was around a year and a half ago). We have an AZD chapter at my school. When we recieved our charter the girls made us this large picture thing. On one side it has a picture of the AZD founders posing with some Sigma Nu brothers from Delta Theta Chapter (Lombard, now Knox College). The other side has an explanation of how Sigma Nu helped found AZD, how the AZD rose was chosen to complement Sigma Nu's white rose, etc.
