This Could Be My Big Break!
 

Ok, so anyone who knows me, know one thing.... I cant stand my current job :). I work with emotionally, physically and mentally disturb children (Or as some of us say, "mostly bad and just need a tap on the rear" children). It's not the kids, but staff that make the job undesirable (Politics, favoritism, typical work BS, etc. You can say something and many of us have, but its just laughed off). Anywho its been VERY undesirable lately.
But one day when I came home my roommate (Oh yeah, I moved out of mom's too :D), had this smile on her face and asked me if I had heard our voicemail. I said no and listened to it.
On the machine was a message for me about setting up an interview with this Law firm I sent a resume to for a Legal Assistant! I am soo happy because, I want to go to Law school (hopefully or Grad for Public Pol.) in the next 2 years and I think this could start me on my way. The legal field is what I have always wanted a career in. The first sweatshirt I picked out on my own was a Harvard Law one, when I was 8.
Anywho, just wanted to share the news of the interview (Its so hard to even get an interview nowadays) and wish me tons of luck because I need all I can get! :) :D ;)

Awesome !!! It will look great to have legal exp when you apply to law school.. I am in the dental field , in part to see if it was for me and also to build exp. Just remember you can do anything you set your mind to!!! Good luck!!!!

OK, so I went to the interview and the woman told me that they changed the job a little bit (actually it seems like a lot). Its now more of a data entry job for forclosures and mortgages that the attorneys deal with. However, I still am interested. Hope I get it and I like it.

Mortgage experience is always beneficial to your resume. The job market may go up and down. But the exchange of land ownership is as old as time. Very nice, I hope that you get the job!
