Was this supposed to be funny?

Isn't Banzai a British show? Because when I was in Ireland two summers ago it was on, and everyone used it to play drinking games. It was a big hit, too. Go figure.

Japanese originally, by way of England and now corrupting the good ol' US of A! :)

in theory, it's funny. they took the original seriously though -- as i understand.

Question #2:

Was I, as an Asian American, supposed to be offended by that? Cause, I kinda wasn't. I just felt sorta embarassed that Fox will try anything to boost ratings.

Stan, I'm glad you posted that. I'm not Asian, but watching that made me feel a little uncomfortable, but the thing with the chickens had me rolling. But then, maybe I'm just simple minded. :D

I thought it was funny. Its the closest thing I'll probably ever get to see of the wacky-Japanese games shows, so it works for me.

The chicken thing was hilarous!
