What's popular?
 

Ok, I know that we have had a thread about every sorority girls "necessities" but this is more about your school in general. What are the things at your school that EVERYONE seems to have regardless of whether they're Greek, an athlete, a student govt. member, or the lead singer in a band?

I know for a fact that the number one thing that I see EVERYWHERE on my campus, Mizzou, is the wide mouth Nalgene water bottles. they're sold in our bookstores and I kid you not guys everybody has them. I own one in pink (of course).

The two other things that I see that are just huge are North Face fleece jackets, everybody has them, guys and girls. Some are North Face, some aren't but they all look the same, it's a staple item for winter here it seems like. http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/ass...OMINCAPNAB.jpg


The third thing that it seems like every girl on campus has are the cheerleading shorts that come in a variety of colors (red, navy, black, yellow, pink, green, white, etc.) that have Mizzou embroided across the behind. I own two pairs, one grey and one pink. ;)

So these are just the biggest ones I've noticed at my campus and I'm sure AXJules can add stuff that I forgot. But what are the things on your guys campus' that seem to be everywhere? Or for those of you who aren't in school anymore what was popular back when you were?

What is it with those water bottles, everyone on campus just seemed to all of a sudden have them one day. I don't have one myself but I hear the True Tigers program is givin them out so I just might have to student charge a membership.

It is deffinatly an unwritten rule at Mizzou for any pretty girl on campus to have those cheer shorts, much like it is an unwritten rule to be fluent in sneaking beer into dorms or in STRIPES rides. We're going to get shorts for the girls for our philanthropy this year that also have the fold over waist band with our letters.

The STRIPES, our campus wide sober driving program, number in their phones.

I have seen the shorts like you're talking about and they are really cute.

I definately have the number to STRIPES in my phone as well as the number to Gumby's so I can order during my ride and have it be there by the time I'm home. Yum, cheap, nasty, greasy pizza that tastes like heaven when its 2:30 and you are sh*tcanned.
