what should i do?
ok i know this is kinda a dumb question, but a lot of people have told me that when i send in my picture dont go for a drastic change b/ then the sororities might not recognize defeating the whole purpose of the pic. The only problem is that i had long hair in the pic...and now since its summer and 100 degrees, i really am itchin to cut it to its normal short hair-do.....would it really make a big diff. if i just trimmed off two inches?

Gee, I think I sent in my senior picture for rush. In that picture I had hair past my shoulders with a little fringe of bangs curled up (this was 1993.) By the time I showed up for freshman year of college it was in slightly layered bob just past my chin. I don't think that detail affected my rush one way or the other. However, I was rushing a campus with 10 houses and quota at 55 so I don't think they were even trying to memorize who we were based on those photos. Plus, if your face and overall appearance is pretty much the same it shouldn't matter too much.

There is a thread about this about 5 or 6 down.
http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...threadid=36242 Just cut your hair!! These girls don't just learn you by your hair style, it is a combination of things. The pictures are sent in to just give them a general idea. |
Who all uses slides??? AWWWWWWWWWW this is a tuffy! It's just that there have been so many stories on GC about the two Jennifers getting confused and cutting the wrong girl....not everyone meeting someone-LOTS of confusion.
I just don't know. Two inches is nothing. No problem there, but more drastic changes kind of worry me. Then again...I worry over silly things. |
