Tell me about Alumnae Initiation!
 

As I posted once before, I was considering rush but have reservations b/c I know that I would not be the "traditional" rushee. Some people mentioned going through alumnae initiation, but I am totally unaware of what that would entail and whether or not many sororities participate etc. So where would I even start? Appreciate any info that ya'll can share with me!:D

I'm so happy to hear you are still considering being Greek! Like I mentioned in my post to your previous thread, many women join their sororities through Alumnae Initation!

I personally don't know much about AI, but fear not! Many GC'ers here have experience with it in their organizations!

For alumnae initiation, sororities do not participate in it in the way that collegians are recruited during Formal Recruitment. For AI, the initiative has to pretty much come from you, unless you have a friend who is a sorority member and who thinks that you would make a great sister and can get the ball rolling on your behalf!
