Help with Alumnae Kick Off Meeting

I am a member of the Greater McHenry County (Illinois) Alumnae of Zeta Tau Alpha. We start each year with our recruitment drive and a big Kick Off meeting. As Vice President of Membership, this is my baby. Our Executive Board decided on the theme Flamingo Fiesta, but I am having a hard time finding paper to use for the invitations. We will be sending out approximately 150 invitations, and I would love to find a flamingo stationary that I could print on my laser printer. I am striking out on the internet. I did find one great paper, but it is out of print. Can anyone help me out? Thanks so much!
ZLAM,
Courtney :)

Courtney,

Try this site flamingo paper

That's all I could find... I used to get a catalog, I thought it was called Bright Ideas!, but I can't find any info on the company.... if I find a catalog, I'll let you know the website. They have tons of funky papers.....

Good luck with your party!!

One of my pledge sisters helped start that chapter but she has since moved back to Dallas. She says that you ladies are very nice.

I'm also membership for my chapter this year. We're having a "Tee & Tiaras" party at a miniature golf course for our kick-off so I'm looking for paper, too.

Good luck!

ZL&M,

LaRue

Alumnae Kick Off Party

Thanks so much for the lead on the flamingo paper; I saw one very similar when I went web surfing, but it was out of print. I will definitely check on this one.

Radiozta, if you see Toni, be sure to say "hi" to her for me. I really miss her.

If anyone else has any ideas, let me know. Thanks again.:)

Why not just use bright flamingo pink paper and print your own border/graphic using clip art?

You can also get a flamingo die-cut from the scrapbook department at a hobby store and use those on a foldover card that's been printed with the invite info.

As always, you have come to save the day, Barbara. What a great (and easy) way to take care of this. I am thinking about your first idea, because I have a strip list of 150 names to send invitations to! Again, thanks for the great ideas!

BTW, how is your little one doing?

He's doing great! Hard to believe he's already 4 months old, starting to rollover and eats constantly! But, he's so healthy and beautiful, I'd be wrong to complain!

Also, for whatever it's worth, you can send postcards for quite a bit less than letters and the cards can be up to 4x6 in size and still go at the postcard rate. If you are on a budget, it's a great way to go!
