As many of you probably know, NBC's Today show has a feature called Today Throws a Wedding...Each year 4 designer wedding gowns are featured...this year there is a Kappa designer!!!

Gown number #3 is designed by KKG Sister Anne Barge!!!

The public can vote for the gown that they think the bride should wear... Support Anne by voting for the gown she designed!

If you are interested in casting a vote go to: www.nbc.com, then click on the Today Show, then click on Today Throws a Wedding to vote...

All votes must be cast before next Tuesday-the 15th of July.

Wow! Anne's dress was definitely my favorite. It is absolutely gorgeous. I am sure next Wednesday, they will declare her the winner!

It's official from more than 480,000 voters on the the Today show website (largest number of voters in their history for anything!), Anne Barge's wedding dress not only won the competition, but actually garnered an overwhelming 42 percent of the votes! It was more than 200,000+ votes for her dress.

Hello! I'm not a Kappa but Anne Barge is an alum of UGA, where I went to school. I thought y'all might want to read the articles about her in the UGA alumni newsletter. She was really touched by the support she received from the Kappa and UGA communities!

Hey, I thought I'd bump this thread. I was waiting by a magazine rack today and happened to pick up a bridal magazine and was looking at the dresses. I saw an add for Anne Barge's line, and guess what its symbol is? A Fleur-de-lis. :)

Isn't that cool?
