six weeks till rush and i still am yet to find an Alpha Phi to write me a rec!!!! its the only one i need!

If you can't get it I wouldn't stress too much. I had 3+ recs for every sorority and none for DG. Of coarse in DG if they want you bad enough, they have to find someone to write you a rec - but I've always thought it was funny that I went with the only sorority I had 0 recs for.

Yeah I wouldn't stress about it too much...Again it goes back to like I said in the PM I sent you...what matters most is the impression you make on people. I know one girl who was a pageant winner and double APhi legacy-both grandmothers- (also a Gamma Phi legacy from her mom) and the girls in APhi couldn't drop her fast enough...

Like MariondaleDG said, if a rec is needed, and they want you bad enough it'll get worked out.

Honestly (I think I mentioned this before) recs aren't that big of deal at UNL.

I also ended up in the only sorority I didn't have a rec for! :) Funny how things work out...

I think it'll be OK. I purposefully sent in no recs (because the rush packet said they were the chapter's responsibility, and I didn't want to seem presumptuous--oh, boy, I had no clue), and I still had a full schedule every day. So I tend to agree with whoever said that it's more about the impression you make, at least where I went.
