Rec help or general advice

Hey y'all! I am going to be entering UF as a freshman this year and I am really interested in rush and delta delta delta, but I have been having a lot of trouble finding recs(my parents are yankees and no help at all!). I would love to meet with an Atlanta area tri-delt and see if maybe she'd like me enough to recommend me. If anybody would be interested in helping me out, please just send me a message or write a post. If you have any general advice or anything to say about UF rush, likewise! thanks and have a great day!

Hey! I'm glad you're so interested in Tri Delta . . . I just wish I could help you more. I've yet to write a rec or even point somebody in the direction of one. Here's the website of the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic:

http://www.atlantapanhellenic.org/

and here's the Atlanta Tri Delta Alum Association:

http://www.atlantatrideltas.com/

Hopefully you can email one site or the other for more information and they can hook you up with somebody who can meet you and write you a recommendation. I hope you get your recs! You're lucky that you live in a city with so many Greek women; it will make getting recommendations a little bit easier. Good luck with rush and make sure to let us know how it goes. :)

Hi, Bettie. I am a tri-delt alum from UF, and I wish you luck during recruitment this year.
My advice would be to enjoy the process: sing with your Rho Chis and get to know girls in your recruitment group. Also, try to acquaint yourself with each house and the girls in it. I think it's great that you are setting your sights on Tri-Delta, but don't forget that there are other houses that you may love, too.
You have so much to look forward to. Gator games with your new sisters are the best! Enjoy!
