What else are you involved in?

So besides being in involved in your GLO what other organizations are you apart of at your school or outside of school. If you have graduated are you involved in any orgs in your community?

I am Student Senator, VP of my class, and a campus tour guide.

In college I was a part time student employee at the Information Office, an official campus tour guide, New Student Orientation staff member, a member of the Activities Council, and Campus Center Board [the org. that governs the student union] in addition to being a member of Alpha Gamma Delta.

Today I am still active with the American Diabetes Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation [thanks to my AGD connections], the Unity House Foundation, the Contemporary Art Museum, the Honolulu Academy of Arts, and the Ronald McDonald House Honolulu.

I served as VP Communications, VP Administration, and President of my college at the University of Toronto. Currently I'm in the Rifle Club, Archery Club and the Soldier's Tower Commitee (Veteran & Rememberance Day stuff). Also I try to show at any GFA (Greek Fraternal Association) meeting or event; its a loose organisation that represents the Greeks in name only.... they have no power or say over any of the houses.

I'm currently involved in Black Student Union, NAACP(I'm past president), Greek Council, and Black Studies Student Ambassodors. I'm also on the National Student Advisory Board/Union for C.O.O.L ( Campus Opportunity Outreach League)

I was a tour hostess while an undergrad, and also edited the Greek newspaper.

As I'm into genealogy, I'm active with several lineage societies (such as the Daughters of the American Revolution) and genealogical societies.

I'm also very involved with soccer.

I was involved with the women's center, and I was a Residential Counselor--the women's center and Residential Counseling really overlapped. On house-related stuff, I was president of our Panhellenic Council, and ran Recruitment. I overdid it on the clubs in HS, and found two things that I really like and ran with it. Resume padding was SO high school, and I really wanted to focus on fostering relationships with the people I met in college.

Now that I'm alum, I will probably stay active in the alum chapter, interview applicants for my school, and work with historic preservation groups. Maybe Junior League when I get older.

I'm a Peer Educator for FACES (Forming A Community of Educational Support); member of Alpha Lambda Delta; member of Phi Eta Sigma; and a member of National Society of Collegiate Scholars (yeah I'm a nerd...haha) :p

I used to be a voting member for my living unit in my dorm freshman year for the Student Government Association.

Well, I just graduated, so currently am involved only in helping to form my chapter's alumni chapter and am the current editor of the alum newsletter.

While in school I served in the #2 and #3 top positions in my chapter. During those I was a senator -- Judiciary Chair and member of Rules Committee because of that. I played in the school's orchestra (violin, recieved scholarship $) and was reporter/anchor/photog for the school's TV news show (4 nights per week).

I served on IFC for a year, but other than that, I focused most of my energy on my fraternity offices.

Outside of school, I had an ongoing internship.
