Favorite Animal Stars
I was watching this on Animal Planet. Thought it was funny. People voted for their favorites. It was an animal, cartoon or real lets throw in imaginary, that could be considered a star. Who were yours?
Real-The Old Golden Retriever in "The Incredible Journey", The Baboon in "Every Which Way But Loose" and Lassie Cartoon-Dumbo, Mighty Mouse, Tigger I'll probably change my mind if others start posting! :o |
Garfield
Heathcliff Snoopy and woodstock CURIOUS GEORGE, not sure he counts though |
D.C., the wonderful Siamese cat in "That Darn Cat" (1965). Not a great movie, but I loved the kitty. This isn't D.C., but an example of a traditional, apple-head Siamese cat:

This is going to age me but I always loved Benji.I think I saw every Benji movie there ever was.I know that I saw at least 2 or 3 in the theater.
As for cartoon animals,Scooby has always been my favorite. |
The dog in the movie Used Cars. That screwdriver trick was awesome!
|
.......
CARTOON : SCOOBY DOO!!!!!!! I loved him as a child and I still love him!
I''m a big fan of Eddie on Frasier, even though now its his son playing him now. Also Marcel, the monkey that used to be on Friends. I'll post more later! :) I love animals to much! |
I haven't seen it, but the dog on the toilet in "Bruce Almighty". Fake, I know, but it looks hilarious!
|
Lassie!!!
|
Lucy Lawless. Oh, wait. Wrong kind of animal.
How about Lassie. Or Rin Tin Tin. Talk about dating oneself. (Actually, I'm sure Lucy is very nice, but anyone who dresses like that and carries a sword...) |
I was NOT surprised when I saw #1...it has been mentioned.
So far the other top ones have NOT! Steeltrap-you reminded me of Thomasina! |
Benji!!! My favorite living, breathing animal :)
My favorite cartoon animal is one most of you will never have heard of: Muttley from "Dick Dastardly and his Flying Dog Muttley" :) |
