open motto?
 

I gotta question...does Theta have an open motto? Like ours is "We live for eachother" do you guys have one like that?

I'd say we don't have anything quite that succinct and catchy. We do have a fraternity purpose and also a mission statement. From www.kappaalphatheta.org :

Fraternity Purpose
The intellectual ambition of the Fraternity shall be the attainment of highest scholarship. The social aim of the Fraternity shall be to exercise the widest influence for good. The moral aim of the Fraternity shall be the standard of love.

Mission Statement
Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college and alumnae experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual and moral growth as she meets the higher and broader demands of mature life.

Actually we do have a motto, but it's part of ritual, so it remains a secret among intiated members. Those Theta's that may have forgotten and would like to be reminded what it is PM me :)

I plead the fifth on all ritual matters. :D

Actually, I've recently come to find out that our misson statement as posted on our HQ website is actually our "open motto."
