Didn't the Whigs all become Republicans? Just asking.

A lot of them did. There was quite a bit of debate over the slavery issue but the Republican party did incorporate the majority of the Whigs.

Delt, yup, pretty much. The party of Jefferson, the Anti-Federalists, became Democratic-Republicans, that led to the Democratic party of Andrew Jackson. Whigs became Republicans. Abraham Lincoln started his political career as an adherent of the Whig Party and as all of us know, he ended up a Republican like most of his Whig brethren.

Thanks. I thought I remembered something from that Government (Political Science) minor. It's just that it was so long ago.

In fact, there may have still been a few Whigs around back then.
