What are some happy surprises that you may have had happen to you or someone else? :)

Today I got to leave work early b/c they closed my office for a baby shower of one of the ladies that works there...AND my first day of class was cancelled.

I was surprised and also happy that I had an afternoon to myself :D

Hmm, lets see..Happy Surprise today that isn't really a suprise...lol

I get to see this kid Mike that I havent seen since last summer! Sorry, I'm just a little excited. Gotta love the Cape Summer Kids. :D

I discovered an extra bottle of B and BW Vanilla Bean Noel lotion left over from last Christmas! Yess! Now I can smell like cotton candy for a few more months!

I love LOVE LOVE it when I find an extra 20 or 10 in my pockets.

I ordered a book from Amazon this weekend and even though it was not supposed to be here until July 2 or 3rd, it arrived today! Yay UPS man! :)

I got a random letter from my bf today telling me he's ready to really love me the way I deserve to be loved.

WTF??? That was like the best surprise I've had in my entire life......

my dad and his friend seem to be more open with me lately. it makes me feel a whole bunch better to be able to talk to them more.

mmmm happy surprises are nice...

my favorite is the first time i was *really* away from home, my mom snuck a little greeting card into my suitcase. i didn't find it until halfway through my trip because i had packed my clothes in the order i was going to wear them, and it really made my day. :)

my next favorite happy surprise is when i realized i had been given a raise at my campus job. my boss didn't even tell me, so when i saw my next paycheck, i kept thinking, 'wow. that's a lot of money.' then i checked and i saw that i was earning more per hour than i had the previous semester! that was *sweet*.

and ditto on finding money in your pants. that's always nice. :D

Did have a happy surprise today but the other day I had a HAPPY SURPRISE when I got my test back and found out I got a 92% when I thought I bombed it! Now THAT is a great feeling!:D

one of my favorite surprises was when i was at work ( my bf and i used to work together) and this guy comes in with a dozen roses. i ask him 'who are you looking for?' he said ' a miss adrian'. with my jaw hanging open, i open the card and it was from my bf. i turn around and there he is smiling at me. i was a smiling idiot all day long!!

another one of my fav surprises was when i came to work, i catch this guy i have never seen before working. i am thinking 'who the heck is this?' that is when he looks up at me and i thought i was going to faint. i thought in my head, 'this is the sexiest man i have ever seen!!' too bad i was dating someone else at the time. but it was a relationship that i desperately needed to get out of. i finally did and began dating this guy. that is how i met my current boyfriend!! he came in my life at the perfect time cause my last relationship was a nightmare. he is my knight in shining armor. the day that i met him was one of the best surprises of my life!!:D

My boyfriend got an offer on a new job yesterday - one that will allow us to get married... and all of this happened on my birthday! :D

a really good friend just randomly called. I hadn't talked to her since school got out. It was a really good surprise.

I did that today..an extra $20 thrown in a bag I havent used in awhile..it was great :D

One very memorable happy surprise was when my parents surprised me with my first new car!!!

and i got another happy surprise today when i finally got a job I will actually enjoy!!! :) :) :) :) :) :D :D :D :D

I noticed that I had been looking especially svelt this week, so I finally hopped on the scale this am and saw that I not only was at my target weight (I wanted to loose approx 20 lbs Starting last September), but I was 3 lbs below it. Congrats to me for meeting my weight goal. I celebrated with Ms. Kreme, Krispy Kreme, to be exact. Thats an ok thing to do. Ironic, but OK.

The worst part tho, I still have evidence of those pesky love handles. Too much beer as an undergrad I guess. Theres always surgery....
