Sorors: Keep up the wonderful work that we pledged to do. You are all OUTSTANDING and make me proud to be a member of such a wonderful organization. It is my honor to call you Soror!

Sisterfriends: Keep striving for the 20 Pearls. If it is meant to be it will happen. If it is truly in your heart don't give up. I know how anxious you can get with wanting to know information and other things, but don't rush it. Once the invitation is given, things will be revealed in due time. I hope that you all want your experience, if and when you are invited into membership, to be something special. It is like opening a gift at Christmas time. The surprise and the excitement is what makes the day so special. It is the same way with learning about AKA. It is the joy of finally having reached a goal and being given the wonderful surprises that you have waited for and worked for. Haven't you all noticed the excitement when a line crosses the "burning sands" into AKAland? They have worked hard and built a lasting bond with ladies who will be their sisters for life. To receive the gift of the 20 pearls is awesome. I guess that what I'm trying to say is, be patient. Remember good things come to those who wait. Best wishes!!

Thank you so much for your encouraging words. Sisterfriends often get so caught up in what we are trying to acheive that maybe we become overzealous. It is always a nice to hear reminders like yours to keep us on our toes.
One of the things that I love about Alpha Kappa Alpha women is that you all are so sincere and humanitarian in dealing with us sisterfriends. Even when someone is out of line, you deal with them in a respectful manner. You ladies actually encourage and nurture the interest of others. That is something rarely seen in other Sororities and I really appreciate that. Thank you, ladies, for your continuing support and guidance. Mizzkes
