I didn't know this until I looked at the DU Quarterly but General Tommy Franks was a member not only of Delta Upsilon but also a member of my Texas Chapter. I guess it was about time we got a famous alum.

Tommy Franks was the former head of U.S. Central Command.

He recently retired, and is largely credited with devising the battle plan in the recent war against Saddam.

Funny. Seriously, that will so go down as the quote of her life. She couyld make a gettsyburg address, but that gal will always be remembered for the "vast right wing conspiracy" quote. Then when Barbara Walters asked her, she didnt have the balls to just shut the hell up and say she was wrong, but had to dig them heels in. If that gal EVA wants to run for president and have a snowballs chance in hell, shes gonna have to learn to be contrite and humble, which should keep her as outta pennsylvania ave till about 3545. lol.
