sigma kappa sightings
 

ok, so i have another sigma kappa sighting. i'm in fort collins for the summer and my mom and i head down to the cherry creek mall to do some shopping. anyway, we're in victoria's secret and there's a sigma kappa shopping in the store! i pointed her out to my mom and she was all like "how do you know she's a sigma kappa?" the girl was wearing her full frontals (block letters). they were really cute too. we said hi, then headed out the door. like i said in my eiffel tower thread, we're everywhere!

anyway, to start a new thread. . .anyone seen a sister somewhere totally random that wasn't from your chapter?

I'm taking summer school classes the community college at home...and a girl in my stat class is a Sigma K from Virginia Tech!

A few weeks ago, I was driving to Busch Gardens with my niece and I saw a Sigma Kappa in front of me from James Madison.... at first I beeped and waved and she looked at me like I was crazy. But then I got in front of her and it clicked and she beeped back. My niece is getting the picture of it now too and despite being 11 now, she wants to be a Sig Kap :)

i saw a sister from the ohio u chapter in oxford over new years wearing a shirt from my chapter. i forgot that i had given their chapter a bunch of our shirts when we closed. totally random.

I was in Chicago last summer at a white socks game and I saw a Sig Kap standing in line for the bathroom. I got so excited I wanted to go over and say hi but she was on her cell phone and the people in the bathroom line looked a little cranky - I didn't want them to think I was cutting in line :p But I was happy to spot her none the less.

How come I can never be happily surprised by an oddly placed sister?? LOL Dammit!

since i work at Target and practically everyone goes there, i tend to see a lot of greeks for some reason not from my school. like this one time i was helping a girl out and she was wearing a cal state fullerton greek week tshirt and i asked her what sorority she was in and she said SIGMA KAPPA ;) also when i first got initiated i was so excited that i wore my letters the next day at the mall. i was walking with my mom and this older lady came up to me out of the blue and asked if i was a sigma kappa. i said yes and was kind of frighten of to who this lady was since it was my first time and all. she said she was a member of my chapter a few years back and told me it was the best time of her life. the only person she knew was the president cuz our pres pledged right before she was going alum!!!! its so great seeing sigma kappa sisters out of the blue:D

I met a new sister in my summer science class. I'm taking at the local university so I can graduate on time. The first week of class I was wearing one of our date party shirts and this girl asked me where I was a Sigma Kappa and then she said she was a Sig Kap too! I haven't met many sisters from other chapter so I thought that was really cool!

ooh ooh! a new sigkap on the board! hi! introduce yourself. we love to hear from new sisters on the board. what chapter, etc. etc.
