Those looking to discredit greeks READ THIS!
 

I've seen your sites...you come here and cull the posts..looking for sensationalistic stories that you can use to make your weak arguments as to why "greeks are bad".


Have you ever opened your eyes and seen all the *good* we do as well?? Do you not notice the posts stating "Why NOT to haze" and the other arguements BY greeks about how its unacceptable?

Of course not....and when you dont, it's something akin to taking something out of context.

Greeks have had their ups and downs, but be rest assured that todays greek community is about success...pushing forward harder than ever to be a positive force on campus, in the community and in society. Look at our philanthropies sometime and see how greeks of all kinds are helping our fellow man.


As a 33 year old alumni, I can safely say that we're not about parties, or who is dating who. We're about friendships that are never broken...ties that bind.

Unless you've been a greek, I'm afraid it may be hard for you to comprehend...but dont use a wide brush to paint us with... =\

Travis, what you say is true!!!

Go back through some of the Threads and you will see many of us venting on the same thing!!!!

Thanks...just annoyed is all when I see sites that "dedicate" themselves to undermining greek letter organizations.

We've all worked hard to establish ourselves, to carry out our lineage and heritage across college campuses nationwide, and to have someone wantonly misquote us is just not right.

Fortunately we know the real story!
