Mother's Pins
 

I noticed a thread that said that Alpha Gamma Delta has a Mother's Pin? I don't recall ever learning that before. Anyone have any insight on this?

I'm also curious about this pin. I know that we've had this pin for a while, but does anyone know how we can go about getting these pins for our moms? I know that they're available for purchase through BurrPatt, but is there a special ceremony involved through the chapter? Or are we allowed to just get them on our own?

I think that you can just purchase the pin directly from BPA. I don't know if there is a ceremony done for this. Perhaps one of our more seasoned alumnae can tell us? :)

The Mother's Pin has been around at least since the 1930s, since it is shown in my 1931 History. I have been meaning to get one for my mom for the longest time, but I'm not sure if she would get much opportunity to wear it!
