Sorors, a little Ivy song to warm your hearts!

Does anyone remember singing this?

"The Alpha train is a-steady moving,
gotta keep on (clap clap) push-in...."

I had this on my mind while reading that a thread concerning our sisterhood had been closed and moved from the Greek Life board to our board (other group-specific threads are merely moved to their boards, not closed). Just reminded me about keeping my head up while I was working toward this lovely sisterhood, and why I will continue to work for her, becuase she moves on, no matter who and no matter what!

Thanks, Girl! I needed that... It still seems that in the 21st century, it's hard for others to give us our props. But I still have to keep on workin' and strivin' for my AKA!SKEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

...WE STRIVE and WE DO

Did any AKAs learn the song differently? Were there any that didn't clap?

"People get ready, cuz the AKA train's a-coming. Don't need no ticket. Just a little bit of pink and green. People get ready, cuz the AKA train's a-coming. All you need is just a little bit of pink and green........The AKA train is a slowly coming. Gotta keep on......pushin'."
