What does *your* badge look like?

All the badge threads got me thinking. Of the different styles of badges that your GLO offers, which one did you pick? And include pics if you can, because I, along with others, love looking at the beautiful badges!

My anchor is white gold and chased with 4 pearls, and I love it!

My badge looks like this. It is standard. I've never seen another badge.

This thread also deals with badge selection:

I own the ever-so-beautiful key with crown pearls and enameled letters.

Plain goldgloss monogram... for now. ;)

I have the standard Phi Sigma Kappa badge, just a plain gold badge with the leafing as seen in the lower badge just take out the pearls. I've seen a lot of different styles, from encrusted pearls, diamonds, and rubies. I guess it all depends on how much you are will to spend. Every member gets the one I got from what I know. It's really basic and plain and I haven't been able to find a picture of it. To look at our badge go here

I have the Phi Mu badge with pearls, but it has rubies on the four points. It's so pretty!!

The Gamma and the Beta are all rubies (albeit rather pink in color, which I like even more) and the Phi is all pearl. The chapter guard is a phi with pearls and ruby (same pink) points.

I also have a two tone (gold Gamma and Beta, silver Phi) badge on a pendant.

I keep meaning to have my parents bring there digital camera over so I can take a picture of both.

That's what my badge will look like, once it gets here.

For SmartBlondeGPhB, this is our badge on a pendant.

The only option offered for the Delta Zeta badge is the setting of the diamond. It can either be a 6-pronged Tiffany setting or a bezel setting we call "flush". All of us have either one or the other.

While sometimes I wish we'd had all the options available that I've seen other sororities have, I understand that our badges are uniform because every single aspect of the badge has a distinct meaning for us. That's very special to me :)

Any GPhiB's...

First of all, your badge looks fantastic on a pendant and I AM jealous that we're not allowed to do that with ours

Second, what language is that on the bottom of your badge? I thought maybe Hebrew but I wasn't sure. I apologize if I asked something I shouldn't have though! :)

My initiation pin is the pearls with sapphire points, only with white gold:

I have a ring that is the yellow gold, only with ruby points, and another pin with just the pearls on yellow gold.

PhiMuNursie 06-17-2003 12:43 AM

my own personal initiation badge is crown pearls all the way around the quatrefoil.

I also have one with pearls and diamonds on the four points, two with rubies on the points (both with and without pearls), and one with saphires, and two that are just plain gold without chasing. My newest is emeralds and pearls. Yes, I love rescuing beautiful Phi Mu badges from where ever I find them out of Phi Mu hands.

I have a Phi Mu castle...

I have my great-grandmother's badge from 1924 from when she was an AOII at the UTK, Omicron Chapter. It was then given to her daughter, my grandmother and then to me. It is gold with pearls on each letter, the A, O, and II. They do not make the badge like this anymore and there is a ruby in the apex of the A. The badge is also smaller then the ones made today. Then I have my badge which is just gold with a ruby in the apex and my sister has leant me her badge which is white gold with a ruby in the apex. I am thinking about purchasing a two tone badge.
