Madonna's Maverick buys script about haunted sorority
 

Allrighty...let's see if this movie ever gets made:


LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Madonna and Guy Oseary's Maverick Films has acquired the script "House Spirit" from writing team Brian Turner and Garrett Frawley for low-six figures. The horror-comedy, picked up in a pre-emptive bid, is set during rush week at a haunted sorority.

Honestly, I hope it does. Most of the movies Madonna's starred in haven't been blockbusters, let's see if she can produce one a little more succesful

I wonder if Madonna would be the "house mom"? :)

This movie sounds like it would be pure comedy!:D

One thought about it, they should come up with a better title for the movie.... "House Spirit" reminds me of "Ghost Ship" and that movie was bor-ring and corny!

The beginning was cool when the passenger got sliced in half. Otherwise, the movie sucked. I fell asleep watching it.

Well, we called our house mom "Madonna" (long story), but I'm sure the real Madonna would have been just a little bit cooler...

I think this sounds pretty good!

Just cuz Madonna's Co. bought the script doesnt mean that she's going to be in it. Her studio has released some pretty decent films that she WASNT in.

Knowing Madonna, bless her heart, she'd probably try to get away with casting herself as an 18 year old rushee :rolleyes:

I like the premise of the movie, though! Although I hope M stays behind the scenes on this one because it seems like her appearance onscreen is often the kiss of death for a movie.
