Hello to all the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. I would first like to start by thanking you all for creating such an informational forum. This website along with the inspiration I get from five beautiful (AKA) ladies at my high school,has been VERY helpful to me in my quest to find the organization I want to join. Right now, I am Senior and I am about planning AHEAD. So,I guess you can say that I am at the stage of researching,studying,and asking questions about different organizations. In doing so,I have found that my true aspiration is to join Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc.
Once again,thank you all for making such a WONDERFUL website.

Welcome to the forum. However, I would like to offer you some advice. Read the PEARLS OF WISDOM. It's the first thread. Secondly, perform a search. There is a thread already activated for New Sisterfriend introductions. Lastly, the question that you asked has been posed a time or two before. Perform a search and you will come up with a great wealth of information.

I was NOT sure if someone else had started a similar post,so,I decided to hi-jack my own post.

Yesterday,I went to the FIRST orientation for the Fashionetta Cotilion.It was such an AWESOME experince...I was sitting in the midst of over 20 divine women.Most of the AKAs there sported either a pin,shirt,or jacket.I sat there literally chewing on every word that came out of the women's mouth.They were so elegant and they talked with out missing a beat.I was in complete AWE of these women of distinction...they are truly rare jewels.Just to think that for the next 8 months,I will be working along side these wonderful women,makes me appreciative,humbled,and honored:D.I can see why so many of you all cherish and adore your beautiful sorority...it is really something to be proud of :cool:
