Online Family
 

I'm talking to two of my Aunts online right now, and I think it's neat.. I email with my Grandma...My cousins, my parents, everyone.. It's one of my favorite advantages of the internet, and I was just curious who, if anyone from your family, you all talk to online!

For me:

3 Aunts in Florida
1 Uncle in Florida
1 Uncle in GA
1 Grandma in OH
1 Cousin in CO
2 Cousins in IL
Mom in MI
Dad in IN (same town I'm in actually, :p)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but I love being able to talk to my family all over whenever I want!

i talk to my brother on the USS Duluth or when he is at Camp Pendleton (he is a marine)I live in the same house with the rest of my family.

I just had to teach my father how to check his email. It took 20 minutes.

Most of my family lives in Nebraska out in the middle of nowhere, so internet isn't exactly high priority. I think the only reason my Grandma got it is because she has so much crap and wants to sell it all on e-bay.

My grandma doesn't even really have 'internet'..She just has MailStation (I think that's what it's called) - - it's just email.. She has it just so she can talk to all of her 'people', as she says. And she's 86!!!! LOL

My BF works in computers. He sets up networks and teached people how to use computers. The largest group of clients are senior citizens. I think that is great!

I keep in touch with my soroity sisters and my family through e-mail. My sis talks to her best friend forever ;) on AIM. Her friend just got a computer and she went e-mail crazy. She sent out about 20 a day. :eek: She has calmed down now. :)

You know, I have my Aunt and cousins from AZ on my buddy list but I don't ever talk to them. I have only seen them a few times in my entire life.

Other family members that I talk to though are my sister, mom, dad and brothers.

My brother e-mails me from Grand Forks, ND (where he is stationed)

My mom e-mails when she can

I also exchange mail with my sister & cousin, but not as frequently as the above two

My sorority sisters (of course)

11 cousins in Montevideo, Uruguay (whenever I can)

2 cousins in Daytona Beach, FL (rarely)

I have relatives who are online, but I never talk to them at all (long story, don't wanna get into details)

I talk to a few of my sorority sisters, but as for biological family...

My mom
one of my brothers
my dad's aunt
more 'long lost' cousins than I can count (found them online working on my family tree)

I have a few family members I keep in touch with via email--- grandparents, uncle, cousin...
But my brother (who is home from iraq) and I email everyday--for about 3hrs a day. I don't have the internet at work, but I do have email. When I am at home-- we will chat about an hour a week-- but email for us is a lifeline!!

My family still has not gotten into the whole online thing. My mom will occasionally send me emails from work about important stuff, but she doesn't like getting on the computer when she gets home because she works on it all day.

My dad has never sent me an email or received one from me, it's just the phone for him.

I talk to my sister online a bunch, on IM and over email...but she's in Boston for school too, so when she's at school we mostly talk over the phone.

Mom -- IM, e-mail
Brother -- e-mails occasionally
Cousin -- needs help with assignments, but lately IM too
Aunt -- IM and e-mail

Other family members, cousins mainly in my age bracket

I have only 2 people in my Family, not counting my Nephew! I met him once! :p

Dad dont, Brother, hell hardly talk when get down home anyway!:o
