help from Valparaiso Greeks!

Hey VU greeks-

I was wondering where you purchased your Greek merchandise. Is there any place in Valpo??

Thanks!

Hi!
I am recent Valpo grad. Unfortunately, there are no stores that sell Greek stuff in Valpo. The Greeks on our campus have become experts at ordering from companies by catalogue or online. We also purchase things from other schools that may be near a hometown or while traveling. There is a scrapbooking store that sells some stickers and maybe diecuts on the north side of town, but that may not be what you are looking for. Let me know if you need any more Valpo info. Best of luck!

I thought the school bookstore was selling shirts with letters on them (that you would order) and I thought Elegan's was doing shirts and stuff as well.

When we ordered stuff like bid day shirts, one place we went through was Shirt and Cap Connection...they were great to work with and pretty speedy too!

Hope this helps! :)

(I graduated last May :))

Ooops!! I forgot about just plain letter shirts. The bookstore does sell sweatshirts that you can order but they are expensive and a poor selection. I do not know of anyone who orders from them so I can't comment on quality. Elegan will not produce block letters because of the bookstore, but they will still do screenprinting. I have used Shirt and Cap for a few different things (ie Panhellenic recruitment shirts for all sororities, the all Greek move-in shirts, Orientation shirts, etc.) I agree with polarpi about the quality and price. I have always been pleased. There is a sports shop on the northside of town, right on Calumet by Schoop's. I cannot remember the name, but they do sew block letters. I am not sure if this is what you wanted, but good ideas, polarpi!! Shirts are definitely something that can be done in Valpo! Have a great day!!!
