Hello girls,
My sister (Greek), Amy and I are planning a trip to California June 27th thru July 1st to celebrate her birthday. We will be in the Anaheim area and we would love to meet any sisters that are there.

I would love to meet up with you, but I'm having surgery on the 30th of June and I'll be doing prep appointments at the hospital and a bunch of stuff that weekend (I live down in the San Diego area)....I hope you and your sister have a wonderful visit out to CA! :)

Jennie, I hope your okay. What's funny is Amy, after the 1st is actually going down to San Diego to spend some time with his boyfriend and his family.
I'm hoping your surgery isn't anything bad and that everything's okay.

Nothing bad....it's the gastric bypass surgery that Carnie Wilson had about 4 years ago (for weight loss)....my mom had it three years ago and with all the health probs I've had, this is the best way for me to get a new start at life and help clear up some of the recurring health problems.

Okay not to sound completely dumb what does GCSo stand for? Secondly, I think were gonna check out the houses anyways. I've seen the outside of the ucla one. It's beautiful.
I don't know if anyone knows if the schools in california do this or not, but when I was at U of A. Sisters that had lived in the house for the school, but needed to stay in town for the summer and the house was closing, they actually able to move in next door to a frat house, not for free, but for the summer. I just ask because I'm sure some sisters are taking summer school.

I think Chloe was talking about the GreekChat Southern California get together in Anaheim. A large number of the GCers are going to meet in Downtown Disney on July 12th in the evening. There's an entire thread about it on the Greek Life board.
