Just wanted to see how everyone has been doing these past few months... i've been M.I.A. on Greekchat for a couple of months and don't know what i've missed out on!

Anybody have any news or updates?!

Either way i hope you are all having a wonderful summer break!

I am totally loving my break from school right now. the sucky part is I got called for jury duty. I was there yesterday and have to go back today at 2. I would so much rather be working.

As for D*Phi*E related news, MetroDPhiE Alumnae is going strong!!!! We had a dinner meeting last Monday nite, then some of us hung out in the city afterwards, and we had a BBQ this past Sunday. We are planning lots of fun social events and outings this summer, and hope more sisters come and join us. We hope to charter sometime this summer as well.

I missed the BBQ. :( The metrodphie group is great. Allison has worked so hard to put the group together. I have met a bunch of sisters including two from my chapter who are a few years younger than I am.

The weather is finally nice. I plan on enjoying it soon. :)

yay MetroDPhiE is the best!!!!!! I know it sounds corny, but it makes me think of why I pledged in the first place and it is great to see that however "old" we may get, our hearts still beat purple and gold LOL!!!! Yay! i got out of jury duty today too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noreen, hopefully i will see you soon. An alum who hasn't come yet offered to host our August meeting, she lives in a luxury building with a courtyard outside around 87th and Amsterdam, she said we could have it outside......see ya soon honey!!!!!

Hi Allison! I was so sad I missed the BBQ. It seems like you all had FUN from all those e-mails I've been reading. Glad to hear about no jury duty! Yippee! Did you decide on a meeting place for July? You can e-mail me with details when you find out. :D

I had a highly stressful school year this year, which included spending my Victoria Day long weekend studying for finals.

Since finishing school 2 weeks ago I have been out and about and enjoying life. I've been to 3 bday celebrations (including my own) and end of year parties.

I just got back from Whistler - it was gorgeous - 35 degrees (which is about 90F) - I tell you there is nothing like swiming in a glacier lake on a day like that. I will be heading back up to whistler in August and am heading over to Pasley Island next weekend.

I have also been busy helping the DG chapter plan for fall recruitment and have been partaking in the Vancouver Alum Association's activities.

It is exactly one month until my cruise and six weeks until my family reunion. My relatives from England are coming to visit. :) :cool:

I start my summer job as a camp counselor for pre-k & k this Monday! Only two more weeks 'till my Dance Marathon Convention in Orlando... woo-hoo!

As for this weekend.... it's the beach for me! (Thank God it's FINALLY stopped raining!):D
