Sorors,

What are some subtle ways that you recognize a soror when she is not wearing 'nalia?

It may sound superficial but sorors tend to glow when wearing RED. We just wear it better than anyone else!

i look for red bags and shoes or boots!

in selecting tops, I always get red. I have more red tops (and black) then the law allows:D

i found a red rain/trench coat from old navy and it is so sharp! i feel so delta-like in it!

More elephant jewelry or designs than "normal". Meaning....an elephant bracelet, necklace and/or ring at the same time or a dress with elephants along with shoes that have elephants on them as well. These things don't always mean "soror", but I always wonder when I see this.

For me, I find that often times I will be having a conversation with a woman and just feel such a connection to her. Through the course of the conversation, my suspicions are confirmed that she is in fact a woman of Delta Sigma Theta, my soror. :)

It was mentioned earlier that when a Soror wears red she wears it better than anyone else. It's like your whole attitude changes when you put on those colors, or anything to do with elephants. Before I finished I would see a woman and wonder and it be true now that I am a Delta I tend to just feel a connection with the other soror in just passing by or speaking. It's funny though... cause I am a neo and in the pass few months no matter where I go I tend to run into at least one or two other sorors and neither of us have on 'nalia. Makes you think;)
