Paddles/Anchors
 

Hi, I am curious to know if your chapter still does paddles/anchors/wooden plaques/whatever the new term is for them and if so, how did you decorate yours?

In my chapter (over 10 yrs ago!) we had wooden anchors that we were supposed to decorate before initiation along with our scrapbooks. I put so much time into my scrapbook (which was quite awesome I must say! ;) ) that I never really did anything with my anchor. I've decided that I finally need to do something about it so I'm looking for ideas.

I would prefer some neat hand painting rather than using the glue-on wood pieces but I'm open to ideas. If you have pictures or links to examples online, please post them as well!

We make anchors and boats.....the lil sis' make their big's a boat and big makes an anchor!!!

We had a "Pillow Paddle Pass". The Big's made a pillow for their little and the little made a paddle for her big! It was fun! We'd have a big celebration and 'pass' or exchange them!

I made my lil sis a pillow as one of her gifts for initiation, it had rhinestones on it etc..it was cute!!!

why dont you make stuff for ur big sis? you should!
