Mystery Shopping Network
 

Have any of you guys registered with the Mystery Shopping Network? It looks interesting...you basically get to shop or eat for free, grade the staff, and you get paid about $40 for it. I'm just curious to see if anyone has done this before and what their opinions are.

I registered with it, the only shops they ever have in my area are of gas stations. The pay in my area is horrible. You get reimbursed for like $6.00 of gas or something.

I am signed up for it but I have never actually done anything...

I got a year of free meals plus $15 for each shop from a major restaurant chain! There are several mystery shopping organizations--google "mystery shop".

I've seen the sites too, and signed up at a couple I think, but haven't gotten anything :(

It's like being ...a mystery shopper! LOL You get paid by a company to go eat at certain places and rate the food...Or to shop at certain stores and rate the quality, staff, products, atmosphere, timliness, prices, etc etc etc.. You get money to do/buy the things, and money as compensation for your time.. At least that's what Ihear.

haha- thanks DigitalAngel126 :) At first interpretation "Network" in my head means "Television Channel/Station"..... it all makes sense now.... :)

I was thinking about doing it to subsidize my need to go out to eat a lot (I don't cook).

I know a woman that got an awful lot of free meals.

It might be interesting in my area because we have the casinos.

I've never done it before, but we used to have them come into places where I worked before and they would "grade" us.

How do you know what companies are legit? I'd definitely be down for getting some free food.
