I Ran into A Perp
 

Sorors and SFs - Good Morning!!

Now I don't want to down the spirits in the room, but I just wanted to let sorors know that I ran into a yucky situation yesterday with a young lady claiming to be a member of AKA. Sorors, when I tell you that I was "cised" *a word that I used to use back in the days when I was back home in NY*, you can believe it. I mean, the whole situation ended with her saying "I'm sorry" over and over again.

(Incidently, the young lady claimed a chapter that was not @ the campus she claimed to have been initiated at. )

It does not prosper to perpetrate. When you really look at it, you are not earning the love and respect that you deserve by faking the funk. In addition to that, the Internet has made the greek community THAT MUCH smaller. I am a true witness to this.

But anyway, that's enough of the gibberish. If sorors (only please) are interested in seein' the dialouge that went down, please e-mail me.

AKATUDE - Don't Leave Home Without It!

Soror, we at the University of South Carolina ran into the same problem last semester. Their was a serious faker running around. She claimed to have pledged in a grad chapter that didn't even exist and when confronted she had to hide behind her mom. So we understand. Sorry that had to happen to you. But if she is faking that just means she is sweating us hard so we must be doing everything right. So keep your head up and give her something to sweat. Oh and if a faker is out there reading this, I feel soory for you because you are sweating so hard. Get a real life.

I just don't understand why folks want to pretend to be something they are not. Eventually they will be exposed one way or another. I agree; they need to get a life.

seems like the sheer embarassment of being "found out" would be enough to stop me from trying to perp in any sorority. I know my friends would look at me like, "what the hell is wrong with you -- looser?!" if I ran around trying to be an AKA, Delta, whatever.

Good afternoon lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.!!! Not to intrude on you conversation, but I did want to send this out to all of those who are not members of BGLOs or GLOs. You risk the potential of an a#$ whipping if you are caught. I can't count the number of times that I have heard of brothers beating down someone who perps. It is bennificial to your health and well being not to do so.

Guys are a lot more hot headed about this, and it usually ends in the perp getting hurt. Not that I condone this type of action, and of course Good Kappa Men everywhere would simply send this person on thier way with a warning. LOL. But it does happen more than you think. If you are that pressed, then try and join.
