What's the Difference?

Hello to the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha and to my fellow SERIOUSLY striving sisterfriends,

During the weekend I was surfing the web looking at the various websites of the nphc organizations and I noticed something that I'm hoping maybe a member of AKA can explain to me (IF IT'S MEANT TO BE EXPLAINED AT ALL http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif). All 8 of the other organizations extensions to the official websites end in .org, while AKA ends in .com Usually a .org extension means its a non-profit organization. Doesn't this apply to AKA? I just thought that was kinda weird and was wondering what the difference was. If I'm NOT supposed to be asking this question, I know someone will let me know (smile).

Take Care Ladies...

Thanks for your replies.

I really have no idea but I am about to put my opinion out there and sorors if I am wrong or you know different please correct me.

When I was doing my research a while back I noticed that Alpha Kappa Alpha was the first to put up a national page and thus I think they went with the flow of .COM but then the other nphc organizations came along and I think they jumped on .ORG and thus AKA has stood with what she originally had before all the rest. Even when the old AKA page was up it was .com, some of the other sites are much newer.

As usual AKA is blazing trails.
